Amy Rota

President

As President and founding member of RAVCO, Mrs. Rota provides corporate leadership and strategic vision to RAVCO, an industry specialty provider to the federal, international, and commercial customers worldwide with an emphasis on training, operations, and sustainment support. Mrs. Rota a former Army officer with a Bachelor in Science from the University of Texas – Austin and a Masters in Science from Baylor University.  She also serves on the Board of Directors.

Njord Rota

Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Rota is the Chief Executive Officer as well as the Chief Pilot for RAVCO.  He is a former experimental helicopter test pilot for Lockheed Martin and Program Manager for the Fiberforge Corporation.  Mr. Rota served in the US Army as a helicopter pilot with commands in Afghanistan and other CENTCOM AORs and is currently in the National Guard Theater Special Operations Detachment.  Mr. Rota’s aircraft qualifications include the Bell UH-1, Bell 212, Bell 407, Bell 206B/L models, CH-47, AS-350, Mi-17, and MD-530F helicopters.  He earned a Bachelor of Science in Physics and BioChemistry from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and has attended the National Test Pilot School.

Jeff Perkins, Vice President of RAVCO

Vice President

Jeff is a former U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) with over 22 years of operational experience including multiple combat tours, management of classified programs, command and staff leadership, contract management, and Joint and Special Operations. Jeff joined RAVCO in October 2016 as Vice President and brings a wealth of industry expertise and credentials. His past assignments include Contracting Officer, Acquisition Source Selection Authority (SSA), and Acquisition Management at the National level to include JCIDS. Jeff is both a rated Rotary-Wing and Fixed-Wing pilot as well as a Joint Qualified Officer.

Heidi Hamilton – Director of Safety

Heidi Hamilton is the Director of Safety and a long-time employee of RAVCO. She has over 18 years of experience in aviation and workplace safety and has held numerous positions both in the civilian military sector. Mrs. Hamilton has worked closely with the FAA implementing initiatives such as SMS and ASAP/MSAP. Mrs. Hamilton is currently serving in the Army National Guard as a helicopter pilot and safety officer. She is rated in the UH-60 and CH-47. She holds a Masters of Aeronautical Science – Safety Management System from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a Bachelor of Arts from University of Washington. She is married to Doug who is also a rotary and fixed-wing pilot and they have an awesome little boy named Max.

Dane Rota – Senior Consultant, Business Development

Dane Rota joined RAVCO in 2018, following eleven years as a program manager and director of business development with IAP Worldwide Services. In these roles, he managed a portfolio of over $450 million of US Government programs, focused on facilities operations, infrastructure construction and professional services programs, including classified work for the Intelligence Community.
Prior to joining IAP, Dane served our Nation for 28 years as a US Army enlisted Soldier and commissioned officer. He retired from active duty in 2003 as a Colonel while serving as the Army’s Program Executive for Installations and Infrastructure at the Pentagon. Colonel Rota received the Defense Superior Service Medal and Joint Meritorius Unit Award in 2000 while supporting military operations in Kosovo, sub-Saharan Africa, Bosnia-Herzogovina and Northern Iraq; and the Army Legion of Merit for his contributions at the Pentagon following the September 2001 attack.

Dane holds Masters degrees from Yale University the Naval War College. He currently possesses a Top Secret security clearance and is an executive board member of the Colonel Edward Cross Chapter (New Hampshire), Association of the Unites States Army. Dane is also serves on the municipal planning board in Mason, New Hampshire where he resides with his wife, Ingeborg.
