As President and founding member of RAVCO, Mrs. Rota provides corporate leadership and strategic vision to RAVCO, an industry specialty provider to the federal, international, and commercial customers worldwide with an emphasis on training, operations, and sustainment support. Mrs. Rota a former Army officer with a Bachelor in Science from the University of Texas – Austin and a Masters in Science from Baylor University. She also serves on the Board of Directors.
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Rota is the Chief Executive Officer as well as the Chief Pilot for RAVCO. He is a former experimental helicopter test pilot for Lockheed Martin and Program Manager for the Fiberforge Corporation. Mr. Rota served in the US Army as a helicopter pilot with commands in Afghanistan and other CENTCOM AORs and is currently in the National Guard Theater Special Operations Detachment. Mr. Rota’s aircraft qualifications include the Bell UH-1, Bell 212, Bell 407, Bell 206B/L models, CH-47, AS-350, Mi-17, and MD-530F helicopters. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Physics and BioChemistry from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and has attended the National Test Pilot School.
Jill Rurig – Chief Financial Officer
Jill Fink Rarig is the Chief Financial Officer at RAVCO. Jill joined October of 2016. Prior to joining RAVCO, she was at root9B, LLC, as the Director of Business Operations. She was at The Macalan Group, Inc. (formerly NEK ASG, Inc.) for 4 years. While at The Macalan Group, Jill was the Director of Contracts and promoted to Chief Administrative Officer. She was at Northrop Grumman for 8 years prior to that. She has a Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Colorado. She holds a B.S. in Physical Science from Columbus State University, and attended the United States Military. Her continuing education spans corporate and specialized training in various financial and contractual topics from Pricing, to EVMS, to Risk Management. She is a current member of National Contracts Management Association (NCMA).
Jeff Perkins, PMP
Jeff is a former U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) with over 22 years of operational experience including multiple combat tours, management of classified programs, command and staff leadership, contract management, and Joint and Special Operations. Jeff joined RAVCO in October 2016 as Vice President and brings a wealth of industry expertise and credentials. His past assignments include Contracting Officer, Acquisition Source Selection Authority (SSA), and Acquisition Management at the National level to include JCIDS. Jeff is both a rated Rotary-Wing and Fixed-Wing pilot as well as a Joint Qualified Officer.
Heidi Hamilton – Director of Safety
Heidi Hamilton is the Director of Safety and a long-time employee of RAVCO. She has over 18 years of experience in aviation and workplace safety and has held numerous positions both in the civilian military sector. Mrs. Hamilton has worked closely with the FAA implementing initiatives such as SMS and ASAP/MSAP. Mrs. Hamilton is currently serving in the Army National Guard as a helicopter pilot and safety officer. She is rated in the UH-60 and CH-47. She holds a Masters of Aeronautical Science – Safety Management System from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a Bachelor of Arts from University of Washington. She is married to Doug who is also a rotary and fixed-wing pilot and they have an awesome little boy named Max.
Senior Program Manager
Matt Dorram is a retired Army CW5. His 29-plus year military career culminated with over 7000 hours in AH-1 Cobra, UH-1 Huey, OH-58, UH-60A/L, plus C-12 and C-26 fixed-wing aircraft. As an early instructor pilot of the US Army’s High Altitude Training Site (HAATS), he helped develop and perfected many of training practices still utilized today at this world-class institution in Eagle, Colorado. Matt’s final four years in the Army were spent as the Command Chief Warrant Officer of the Colorado National Guard as part of the executive Command Team in charge of over 4000 Soldiers. Matt earned a Master’s Degree from Colorado State University in Organizational Performance, and has attended military professional development courses including Strategic Studies at the National Defense University in Washington, D.C.
